Sparks Fly is a dating show that focuses on positive emotions, where people connect through personality and core beliefs rather than physical attraction. The theme music was written to reflect these values, with my main objective being to capture the sense of class and warmth within the show.

The theme song mainly consists of a string ensemble, including acoustic and bass guitars as well as violins, to establish the sense of warmth and evoke an inviting atmosphere. The addition of brighter timbres, which is achieved via an electric piano and glockenspiel, helps to convey the uplifting nature of the show as well as adding vibrancy to the music.
