Metamorphosis is a short teaser for a hypothetical film or television series in the thriller horror genre. It delves into a dystopian future involving genetic experimentation on humans via a process not too dissimilar to how insects use cocoons. To compensate for the inanimate nature of the footage, I took a maximalist approach to sound design to exaggerate the location and atmosphere. This was achieved through heavy audio manipulation and dense layering.
